Hey,

I had several childhood traumas and I wanna solve them. I cannot afford seeing a therapist. I was wondering if anyone knows a good book/website/literature that teaches me how to deal with my inner child and solve my traumas.

Thanks!

Hi

I think I know how you feel. well it sort of helps to talk about it and let your inner child create something poetry, paintings (paint your monster ect.) you need to find something that works for you.
what is your main problem? sadness, timid?

I did a workshop with John Bradshaw in London a long time ago and I found it very helpful. I bought a couple of his books and I had some inner child therapy with a therapist trained by John Bradshaw. I would definitely recommend Bradshaw. I liked his book "Healing The Shame That Binds You".

Here's a link to his website, with info about his books and DVDs and forthcoming workshops.
