I tried Cymbalta a few weeks ago, unfortunately as my anxiety is health related i could not get past the side effects, i had major sweats, nausea, light headed and dry mouth. For me, it was not the right medication as i need to start on a very low dosage and work up slowly.

The doctor today has put me on Pristiq which comes in a tablet which i can start by taking quarters (cymbalta is a capsule).

I've been on it now for about 6/7 weeks & had to increase to 60mg , however it doesn't seem to be making any differance.
I agree with you the side effects are very hard to deal with , mine are less now but I still feel just as anxious & just as depressed as before I started this Cymbalta medication .
