muscle twitches

I was diagnosed with severe anxiety (GAD) and have been experiencing a muscle spasms or twitch in my chest the last three days. it is a feeling like a pulse beat (one time) on and off through out the day. It usually acts up if I am sitting down reading or watching tv. I want to have it checked by my Dr but my anxiety flies off the handle every time I go to see him. I feel good, worked out the other day. no problems. just this twitch. just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this. I just joined and to be quite frank, I am embarrassed to even divulge this type of stuff.

It could be just a heart palpitation and it is very normal with anxiety. I think it would be a good idea to visit with your doc, just for piece of mind. It doesn't sound dangerous though.
