Sertraline helped me initially. I was on 50 mg for a month, then went to 100 mg. I never felt normal on the drug but it got rid of some anxiety.

It is tough the first week or two but then the benefits start to show up....you feel the anxiety subside and you start to like your old self.....pre anxiety. ....its a nice feeling. I had taken it a while ago and felt so good I felt like I didn't need it anymore. So I stopped. Now I'm going through another tough period and I'm in day 4 of restarting. Its a little tough and the anxiety has heightened a bit, but I am taking alprazolam to help offset that. I can't wait till this initial phase is over and I start to feel the anxiety subside.

I think I might ask to come off the propanolol and go on the Sertraline I was given Sertraline but wouldn't take it because of the side effects but I am only having 2 or 3 good days then I am having attacks again and I am already up to 90mg daily propanolol
So affectively I could have be over the side effects the amount of bad days I have had

I would give it a go. I didn't have any bad side effects when I started Zoloft and it definitely helped my panic attacks. Good luck!

It is the most prescribed AD in the us. I'd give a fair trial. Alankay
