Just out of the blue started having terrible panic attacks about 6 months ago. I also have had fibromyalgia for several years. I'm prescribed hydrocodone for pain, but ever since I've been on 0.5 lorazepam I am afraid to take a pain pill. I'm tired of being in pain. Does anyone else take pain MEDS and anxiety MEDS that can offer me some advice? I'm always so scared to mix MEDS.

I think at just .5 mg lorazepam you'll be fine. Maybe a tad drowsy at first. Alankay

I've heard of people using lyrica to treat anxiety. Since it's really made for fibromyalgia it might help you with both issues. Might be worth researching or talking to your doctor about.

Hi Kb,
To deal with pain and anxiety, practice yoga and engage in regular workouts. Eat fruits and vegetables more in your daily meals and drink more water than routine. Share your problems with your family members and friends and accept the things you cannot change. Avoid stimulants and have proper sleep.

Hi I have Fibro too, the anxiety is a symptom of it .Try Tramadol worked wonders for me for both problems . But don't mix Tramadol with any ant-depressants .Tramadol is a mild pain killer with anti anxiety properties.
