Zoloft Dosage

Hey guys,

Just wondering at what dosage of Zoloft people felt their 'best'.

I suffer from severe depression & anxiety and am currently taking 100mg and still don't feel the best.

Also I take 50mg of Seroquel of a night and propronolol through the day and I am starting to think that maybe the Seroquel is bringing me down.

Yeah you might need to go closer to 200 mg for severe depression or augment it. Alankay

Yes antipsychotics(seroquel) can cause a loss of motivation. Maybe thats what bringing you down. Maybe ditch the seroquel. Why are you taking seroquel?

Ditch the seroquel and ask for some other sleep aid of your doc. These antipsychotics are the worst psychiatric medicines.

Yeh someone did tell me that but I'm just afraid of withdrawals!

At 50mg Seroquel has no other action other than making you sleepy. It certainly doesnt have any antipsychotic action until you hit much higher dosages. Withdrawals shouldn't be an issue unless you are talking about insomnia worsening.
