Speech problems

Has anyone out there experienced problems with their speech throughout their anxiety journey in life? I have taken medication off and on my entire life for anxiety/depression/OCD symptoms and sometimes have difficulty pronouncing words or getting my speech out. I am wondering if its a side effect from taking meds so long? Or am I just being paranoid? Anyone else going or been through this? It is becoming very bothersome and embarrassing in my life!

Could it stem from the anxiety itself? You could be putting yourself in a loop: negative voice --> speech problems --> negative voice --> speech problems

That's definitely a possibility. Do you think I am subconsciously so worried about it that I am causing it to be there?

I know that the mental fogginess from both anxiety and medications have caused me to have problems with my speech. Sometimes I can't find word or am able to maintain my train of thought in the same old ways. Is this similar to what you're experiencing?
