I've been taking 100mg of Zoloft daily and .25mg Xanax only when needed, has anyone thats taken these meds found other meds that work better??

Klonopin. It's way less addictive than Xanax and it lasts longer. It helps with a ton of anxiety symptoms. I'm also on Zoloft and I just started Wellbutrin since anxiety makes it hard to think, concentrate, memorize, and stay awake. So if we stay in touch, I'll keep you updated on the Wellbutrin:)

Ok so it's the Zoloft thats making it hard to think n memorize?? I thought it was my age, good to know. Thank u. Yes plez keep me updated..

If actually blame it on the Xanax. Benzos are notorious for symptoms like that. It could also be the symptom called derealization

Because a young person metabolizes drugs quickly klonopin might indeed be a better option, even ativan but shorter acting alprazolam is a popular drug with docs for some reason. I thought it was often used more for older folks at a lower dose because they metabolize it slower. Xanax will do very well for panic in particular but I think a longer acter is better unless you fell no rebound anxiety after the xanax effects fades. If it works well stay with it if you need it for short periods and again have no issues when it fades out of your system. Yes klonopin would be just a bit less likely to cause dependance, Alankay
