Zoloft Increase

Hey,
I've been on Zoloft 50mg for a month and my doc just increased dose to 100mg. I feel really anxious and sick. Is this a side effect of the increase? I'm scared it's not going to go away!

Hi Chloe, It could definitely be a side effect of the increase. I was on Zoloft for a long time and I remember that my anxiety would increase each time I went up in dosage. You might want to break one of the tablets in half and increase in 25 mg increments and see if that helps ease the side effects. Did you have side effects like this when you first started on Zoloft at 50 mg a month ago?

I.just got increased as well..and felt nausea....but I just want to get better

Thanks for your replies. Yeah I was gunna increase by 25mg but my doc said just take the full 100mg. I didn't feel like this when I first started the 50mg I'm hoping it's just a faze. I kniw what you mean I just wanna be rid of it its so exhausting!!

Ya they just upped be up Monday to 75mg...I.don't feel much of anything...what are u diagnosed with...and by med doc or psyc doc?

And Ya all those symptoms are are effects I take generic Zoloft

I have generalized anxiety disorder & depression. It was my psych doc.
