Can someone describe struggling to breathe please wanna see if its same as mine :-(

Tight chested choked type feeling . lump in throat. Light breathing . hard to get your breath.. Palpitations... Chest pain pins needless tremoring.... Dizzy Dont worry it's anxiety... It won't kill u!!! But it will scare the shit out of you. I wish you all the best m8... Talk to me if u need to??

Ok so I've got the breathing bit I can't breathe properly feels like I'm struggling ;-( I've been to docs he prescribed propranolol will these work

Papanalol... Slows u down makes u sleepy .. Slows your heart rate below 50 BPM... Deep breathe... Do breathing exercises ... U need to accept it... To get on with life :) m8

How do I know it's nothing more serious it's my breathing after all ain't that important lol

Your breathing weird because of you.. it's all in your head.. your actually fixating on it too much and ur breathing manually..

Well, judging from the fact that this website caters to generally anxiety stricken people and also from your thread topic of "Anxiety," I'm willing to bet you struggle with it yourself. I say this because in the first few posts you mentioned not knowing its medical significance and whether it was serious.

If you had posted this thread on WebMD or some other general health oriented forum, the responses might have been more along the lines of "Get to the hospital stat!" and/or "Have this checked immediately by a pulmonologist if you're still okay."


Not trying to be snarky, just want to reassure you it's likely your anxiety and panic...like me.

I would encourage you, if money's not an issue, to see your GP and/or a specialist like a pulmonologist to rule out this issue. They're the only ones that can help with your doubts. After doing this, you'll just have to come to terms with anxiety.

I've been having the same problem. Google air hunger. Hope that helps
