Lexapro 10mg

I have been taking generic Lexapro a few years now for my anxiety and depression. I don't know if its a side effect of this med but I feel emotionally flat and numb. Has anyone out there taken this and felt this way?

If you've been on Lexapro for a while, at being able to handle the medication without major side effects at 10mg, then there is probably an issue more with dosage. You're body has already adjusted to Lexapro and isn't quite taking it seroiously as a medication.

You probably have two options: Increase the Lexapro to 20mg, under the permission of your doctor. More dosage means you're going to have a stronger effect, so you'll feel less emotionally flat and numb.

The other option is to supplement your current take of Lexapro with Trazedone, which is another antidepressant at small amounts can boost Lexapro from *pooping* out.

However speak with your doctor first, about any dosage changes, or potential prescriptions for supplemental medication.

Trazedone is a good med but it causes less production of saliva which very unpleasant, that dry mouth
