Don't worry...we have all been there. There are so many different symptoms of panic attacks. I've had pressure in my head that doesn't go away and I get super dizzy frequently.
Browsing around on google for health issues that may cause this only increases the worry.
Take a break from browsing google and browse the forums instead. There is a list in the general section that has a lot of symptoms of anxiety on there. I like to check those out if I feel something just so that I can know that it is anxiety.
Or if you have to google something search for "anxiety attack symptoms" instead of "causes of sharp head pains" you're much more likely to find something that will help you.

Hope you enjoy being on the forum and make some good friends, and find people to help you.
It is bad news to look at the internet for symptoms, it really doesn't help, unless like sometimes when my doctor gives me the name of a good website and tells me to look something specific to look up and read about.
Headaches can be easily part of depression and anxiety, and panic attacks, but if your doctor gives you meds then it is best to try them. Perhaps you should go back, tell them you have not been using the meds, and start again with your doctor. That will give them chance to decide with you if you want and need meds or are better off without them. Doctors are usually really good when it comes to depression etc and will quickly help you to get the right sort of help you need, rather than just meds.
My doctor always refers me to the mental health team as soon as my depression looks like coming back and that team is really good and helpful.
So I should go back and talk openly with your doctor, rather than looking at the internet.

This type of head pain is probably a sympton of panic and anxiety when you are talking to people. It is common not to feel comfortable talking to people and common to have symptoms of anxiety and panic. If your doctor has ruled out you having something wrong with your head, please forget the internet, and see for a while if it is just panic. I have just learned a new panic stopper - smelling salts - you take a quick sniff and they are so strong that it puts your head straight back to the present so your panicking stops.
At home you can use ice on the back of your neck or in a bowl of cold water and splash your face - it really works.

Thank you for all your replys, really helps knowing im not the only one to feel like this. Trying to stop searching on the Internet as it only makes me feel worse. Feeling really anxious today so trying to keep busy still having head pains n now it feels like painful pins n needles, my neck n shoulders ache as I feel so tense. Last night I had pains in my chest so I convinced myself that I was having a heart attack. I jump from one pain to another. Really want to feel normal again!! Anyone else feel like this??? X
Chest pains are also a normal symptom of anxiety and stress. But it is always best to get anything like chest pains checked by a doctor. Once you know that there is nothing seriously wrong, then you can relax a bit and accept that it is a sympton which you need to learn to overcome.
Chest pains are horrible and make you feel terrible, but by deep, slow breathing you can overcome these pains, like any other sympton of anxiety. Not easy, but you can do it.

I do get those symptoms as well. I get a slight feeling of dizziness and faint. You are not alone Kim654. I do agree you should take a break from searching the internet. Try to keep a journal everytime you get one. And, trace your thoughts. See what triggered it. Once you begin to learn what triggers your attacks, you will begin to understand your body. It is all about understanding your body. For example, yesterday night I had a panic attack after playing soccer for three hours. It all started with a slight discomfort in my esophagus. I began to think it was a heart attack. From there, it lead to a full blown panic attack. While driving home, I felt shaky, my hands became cold, I felt like my body was numb, I felt I could not breath, etc. I knew it was a panic attack. When I got home, I threw my self on the floor and began to breath slowly. It took a few minutes for my body to feel better. I have been able to enjoy life and the attacks as well. I know the enjoy the attacks sounds crazy, but I have no choice. It is a part of me. So, I have leaned to embrace it.

Keeping a diary is a really good idea, and can really show what your trigger points are. They can also show you that some days have not been as bad as others because at times you feel like you never get any relief from it, but a diary shows that you actually do some days.

It's o good to know I'm not alone on this. My husband has made me stop googling anything medical related if I'm having any new pains or symptoms. I would spend hours online trying to diagnose myself and in the end I'm always fine but at that time I don't feel fine. I'm always worried I have cancer, brain tumor or a heart problem. I got so bad at one point that I would check my pulse every 5 minutes and carried a blood pressure monitor in my purse.
