ive been taking cymbalta ( duloxetine) for 2 months now and am having terrible stomach and palpatation problems..... anyone else have this? is there something else similar i can try?

Yeah the other SNRI would be effexor but I'd start with an SSRI first. Zoloft would be my first choice for anxiety. An SNRI is often tried when a person is more depressed or say 2 ssri's have failed but that just a rough guide. Effexor would be much cheaper as would zoloft for sure. Stomach issues nausea is common with that med.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duloxetine) but often goes away but in less that 2 months so ask about zoloft or even effexor. One often needs to try more than one AD to find one that helps the most with fewest/little side effects which often go away anyway. PM me any time. Alankay
