Anytime I'm confronted by my boss or a client, confronted in a negative way, the adrenaline kicks in and my ability to speak and stand up for myself goes away. My heart rate goes way up, and I literally can barely speak. It's a horrible situation to not be able to verbally defend yourself.
Does anyone know of any way to suppress the adrenaline surge and to calm down one's physical reaction?
