Propranolol?

Does any1 take propranolol for anxiety? Am scared to take it incase it does something to my heart :(

It's a beta blocker. It won't hurt your heart at all. Just lower your heart rate and bp maybe. Are you starting on a small dose?

40mg twice a day but just scared cause its still abit sore round the heart area after having rapid heart rate last week which ended me up being taken to a&e :( it's just so annoying now and totally fed up!!

I've been on them over 6years and was prescribed 80mg twice a day ( only take 1 a day tho ) ..... I've had no problems at all with these

I was in a bad way some years back and got put on them and I think they helped an long with me pushing myself

I take these for migraines but it does help my anxiety to some extent.I have no problems with it.and I have taken it for years!!
