New here, old to anxiety

Hi I have intermittent anxiety that's flaring really badly right now. I'm in the midst of a med change because my doctor thinks my old meds (Paxil + Celexa) aren't working for me now. I'm going on to Effexor XR.

This med change is really hard. Really hard. I've reduced my Celexa by 2/3 and only just started the Effexor. I'm having major anxiety with all my symptoms. I'm so disappointed that I'm back in this spot again.

I know what you mean about disappointment being back down bad again. I get that every time they change my meds. You go from hope to anxiety side effects to despair they are not working too. A vicious circle hard to get out of until you find a tablet which really woks for you.
