Can Anyone give me a bit advice on this medication?
X-ray and 2 ECG have all come back normal.
doctor says its my muscles being tight all the time and wants me to try it cos it might help but I want abit advice after reading the leaflet lol x

What would u like to know ?
I've been on it quite some years back wen I had a bad patch then was weaned off it ( myself ) then about 6 years or so ago I was put back on it as I was really bad again ... I've never had any problems , but just at the beginning I did used to get nightmares ( side effect ) but they didn't last long and I've been on them ever since ( but don't take them often ) weaned myself down again

just want to know side affects I have 10mg to take. do they make u feel better? I got told to take them for chest pain

I'm on 80mg and supposed to take two a day ( 160mg )
But I've only ever taken the one ... I think they help ... But then I sometimes think " if I hadn't started on them would I have still got better on my own "

It's a low dose so no harm in trying them

I take propranolol they r a beta blocka, help to stop heart beat from rising above normal x im on 40mg x 2 a day (80mg) a day, I hate taking them but they do help and I havent had a fast heart rate since taking them but they dont help with the pain, they might help a little bit but the pain goes away gradually in time when you get used to them xxx

what is propanolol meant to help? is it just heart palps and shakes? or breathing and stuff

It's for anxiety / panic disorder and many other things not related to this ....

ive taken them for 17 yrs now and they help anxiety and racing heart... now they help heart flutters as im going through awful withdrawls and help with tremors x
