How to know if AD dose is too high??

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering what are some signs that an antidepressant dose is too high?

I seem to have symptoms that should have improved, but I'm having terrible headaches and muscle aches. I have been Lexapro for over 3 months and I'm still having these symptoms. I upper my dose to 20 MG around 4 weeks ago...not sure if I should of upped it.

Did you speak with your doctor, or therapist before increasing your dose? I don't mean to be harsh, but these are things you discuss with whoever prescribed the AD..none of us here are medical professionals so it would be very hard to give you any type of answer on this.

Sorry about that...I probably wasn't clear. My psychiatrist increased my dose to 20MG.
