Hi everybody,

Recently I was put on Busbar because I was tired of having my emotions be almost non-existant as a result of currently taking Celexa for my social anxiety. Don't get me wrong SSRIs definitely worked out for me and pretty much got rid of most of my social anxiety.I recently asked my doctor if I could increase my celexa dosage by 10mg because I noticed my anxiety was slowing coming back to say hello. Taking Busar bar along with my Celexa, and making sure to give it a couple of weeks before I made a judgement, I honestly feel as though it has literally no effect on me. Anyways, do any of you take Busbar and does it work well for you or does it really not do that much? Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Christopher stop taking under medical supervision, mine prescribed it to me when I started to take Celexa and it did absolutely nothing. It actually made it even worse!! Good luck to you, Peace.

Buspar usually doesn't help much. But for some it does indeed. Alankay

I started out at 5mg twice a day. That didn't work so it was upped to 10mg twice a day. Still nothing so my dr. Has prescribed Celexa for me (20mg once a day). I haven't started taking it yet but have heard good things about it.

I have found it to help me a lot. I was initially prescribed 5mg twice a day, then 10mg twice a day. However my anxiety came back during a stressful period (separation, moving home etc.) and I have increased it to 15mg x2 and I feel loads better! I think the max dose is 60mg/day. You don't say what dose you are on but maybe try increasing it before you give up?
