Official worst panic attack

Went to the Walk in Clinic today to get some more Ativan, had a massive panic attack, couldn't talk or move my arms, the numbness was so intense, but my heat didnt race too too bad, witch was the weird part, it started tingeling down my arms and into my pinky and ring finger, then i lost feeling and movement in my hands, didnt get relief until i took an ativan, this is some crazy stuff!

Probably being in public around doctors, and freaking out for an ativan, I also hyper ventilated while i cried the whole way to the doctors office. Was not fun

Wow Ryan sorry to hear that! Are you on any other meds?

I'm on cipralex, waiting for them to kick in i suppose, he also prescribed me a long acting benzo called colanzepam or something, havnt been taking those ones tho because i vommited all day after taking them, ive no idea if it was because of them but it scared me enough to not try them again

And did the Ativan work ok?

Yeah it takes about 20-30 mins to fully kuck in, it eases me enough that im not panicky

Well that confirms that you have anxiety! Ya your medication will take some time to work, I had to use Ativan in the beginning of my attacks as well! It was a big help! It took my medication about 4 weeks to start working. I'm on Paxil. I started out real slow because when starting out it can actually cause anxiousness at first, then worked my way up. I did 2 wks on 10 MG 1 wk on 15MG , and on Monday I started on 20MG. Dunno if I need higher at this point or not, hoping not!

Ryan.. That's exactly how my panic attacks take place...my arms/hands go numb and tingle and my mouth feels weird and like my speech slurs.
