Hannah.. I can understand that a bit.. I am also reluctant to read every symptom people post for fear that I will have my mind creating that symptom for me!! Grrrr

It's hard cos that is a possibility but its still nice to talk to ppl who understand. Catch 22.

I wish I wasn't so hung up on what people think of me.

Thats the beauty of the internet. No one actually knows who you are. Post whatever you'd like as long as it helps you. Worst comes to worst you can always delete and start a new user name. No one would ever know the difference. This is a pretty safe place to post your most darkest thoughts. I've been a member for sometime now and seen some pretty bizarre posts but I never judge. We are all in this together :)

Hannah_28- I've been there. It's really not fun and often nothing anyone says can make (for me at least) it better until it passes. Sometimes it has to run its course before you can comfortably continue. If I have that problem, I try to make myself step away from the computer for a long time until I no longer feel concerned about it. I wait until I get to the stage of practically laughing at myself for having been so silly. Just try not to panic or jump to any conclusions, and come back when you feel better. (I hope that's helpful for you)

Also, sometimes taking a nap can help. I'll add to the voices reassuring you that you are welcome to talk to me and I think everyone else here anytime. "Making a fool of yourself" doesn't apply at any time.

Thanks. One day ill pluck up the courage to tell my story then it will make sense why I hate myself so much and believe that others will too.

Unfortunately it's largely what my anxiety centres around :(
