Y does anxiety cause your chest to hurt?

I've had this nearly 10 months now I've had 3 ecgs and bloodwork that was all ok. I also have upper back pain and poor posture which the doctor said doesn't help.

Poor posture can cause chest pain. I have it as well. I spend a lot of time hunched over at my computer. Something else ive noticed is breathing wrong may cause it. Your chest, ribs etc can become sore and tender from chest breathing. It can also be from tensing up when you're anxious. I do that as well lol.

It may also be heartburn or acid reflux. Has your doctor mentioned anything about that? Try taking some over the counter relief for heartburn and see if it helps.

My chest feels to me a lot, What I imagine getting over heart surgery would feel like. Not real painful just a weird not normal pain. It's not all the time
