My mum has depression and I worried I have it too I have been searching up symptoms and I fit into all of them. I was thinking of writing to my mum about it and hinting at it by telling her what I feel like but I am worried she won't believe me ......

Depression is a general mental problem in nowadays busy life. Symptoms of Depression:
Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" mood
Feelings of hopelessness, pessimism
Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness
Loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities that were once enjoyed, including sex
Decreased energy, fatigue, being "slowed down"
Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions
Insomnia, early-morning awakening, or oversleeping
Appetite and/or weight loss or overeating and weight gain
Thoughts of death or suicide; suicide attempts
Restlessness, irritability
Persistent physical symptoms that do not respond to treatment, such as headaches, digestive disorders, and chronic pain

See excatly I fit into all of these
But I am only 13 and my mum doesn't think children can get depression but I have been feeling this way for so long

My son is 13 and is an anxiety suffer like me. U need to talk to your mum & tell her how u feel.

Kelsta yes I believe I have anxiety too but I don't know how to tell her
