Since my anxiety came back in November I've felt more & more depressed as the months go on. I can barely get out of bed at all. I've been into work for 1 full day & 2 part days in the past 3 weeks. The rest of the time I've spent sleeping, crying or feeling my anxiety symptoms.

I don't feel like I can enjoy anything properly anymore. I started counselling on Wednesday & have another appointment this Wednesday. My CBT should start in around 8 weeks or so.

I just miss feeling normal. Today I made myself go to work, but I only managed 5 hours & felt anxious & just basically rubbish the whole time. Now I'm home, all I can think about is how miserable I'm going to feel in work again tomorrow. :(

Hey temperancebrennan,

I'm so sorry you're feeling down. My symptoms admittedly aren't as bad as yours, but I've been living with continual anxiety/depression for about 2.5 years. You're not alone.

I hope that one day, I feel normal and happy too! Let's kick this thing's ass together :)
