Hi my name is Candy. I'm new to this site. I'm hoping it is more like a support group for people fighting anxiety. My story began in 2007 when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had a thyroid storm and was diagnosed with HyperThyroisism. I fight panic attacks and anxiety daily. I take 10 mg of Lexapro, 12.5 mg of Metoprolol, and 5mg of Methimazole, an anti-thyroid hormone. I have found going to the gym helps me cope, but as a Single Mother of two- I don't always have time. So on a hard day, I take 12.5 mg of Xanax. That has helped me. I hate when anxietu raises it's evil head at me. Driving is a trigger for me. So zi hope to talk to yall soon!
