Painkillers & anxiety

Anyone have any ideas what muscle relaxant painkillers dont cause attacks? I took nuofen plus which has ibroprofen and codine in it and ended up in a bad way. I get back spasm sometimes (from body being knotted or from the gym) and need to take something.

I was prescribed naproxen for shoulder pain and it seemed to be fine when it came to my anxiety. It's just a strong form of Aleve.
