I think your idea has merit, in that it's usually very helpful to find someone who can share in the journey and helping out along the way. The risk I see is in creating co-dependant relationships, because there is always a chance that you can grow to be dependant on each other for that support. When there is a weakness in your skills for dealing with Anxiety that overlaps between the two of you, there lays a landmine.

Would it not be wiser to restrict your relationships with wome to just friendships until you feel confident again?
