Hello everyone

I've been suffering from panic attacks since 2005. I take 10mg of cipralex and undertake cbt and sometimes hypnosis.
I'm 33, generally quite happy, hardworking and positive. Anxiety made me change several things and more aware, which ive tried to work in my favor.
Notwithstanding, I worry regularly about my parents' death. I think about it many times a week and call them (they live in a different country) approximately 5 times a day every day. I offer them the trips all the time, cover them in presents and treasure them in an unhealthy way (because, although I love them, exaggeration comes from fear).
I did a lose a sister when I was 5. She fell from a window. She was 3 and my mother was next to her. Somehow I've become traumatised about death.
I've approx 4 mini panic attacks a week.
Wherever you guys are - I'm happy I found this group.

Hey, lua, welcome! I'm glad you found us. I'm sorry to hear that you are consumed by worry about something so tragic. Do you find that CBT is working for you? What about the hypnosis? Does the Cipralex help at all? Did something happen in 2005 to trigger this?

CBT did help me on the number of calls i make to my parents, how i deal with them and how i see myself with them. Although doesn't really stop me from working or coping, it's always there as a sad reminder. And of course - i feel im the only one with this issue. My cipralex dosage is relatively low but I feel that it helps. Other than my sister's death, I don't see what has triggered this. Tips very much
