I have cotton mouth today but i blame that on 6 pints of cider & 2 vodkas last night...

Yes. The benzo have that side effect. I get dry mouth from them too. It's just a side effect. You will find if you stop them for a few days the dryness goes away

I always have anxiety about the side effects I any drug. Even taken extra vitamins. So many you have to take with others and some you can't take while taken others. It's all so confusing to me.

I've never been on Xanax before. However, I used to be on Lithium, which is a salt. Hence, I'd get dry mouth a lot.
