I came off sertraline 50 mg about seven days ago after taking for five months one every day doctor told me to cold turkey now my anxiety has got worse racing heart can't sleep crying loads even though I thought sertraline was making me worse obviously not what do I do please help me out I beg

Cold turkey meaning stopping suddenly? How can your doctor advise that???? Never stop suddenly, especially with so much as 50 mg... OMG. I was taking 10 mg and tapered off for 2 weeks. I imagine with 50 mg you have to taper off at least a month if not more. That doctor must be crazy...

Try to surf out the unpleasant emotions. Don't make any big decisions for a while, and reach out for support. Are they planning on putting you on another antidepressant? Psychiatrists are specialists in this field, so see one if you can. Let your doctor know what symptoms you are having, so he can help you.

She gave me cymbalta 30 mg but havnt started em yet nervous :/
