I agree whole heartedly. This is a living hell and its assuring to know we are not alone. I have been awake for 3 hours already. Laying in bed getting ready to take a half Xanax. On day 4 of medicine transition and feel like i am losing it.

I am right there with you! 10 years is too much. I know some of my triggers but they are not consistent so I don't know how to deal with it. Smoking is a huge trigger. When I try to quit, I get anxious with the withdraw but when I do smoke, I panic for what it is doing to my body. UGH!

I just got the Panic Attacks Workbook: A Guided Program for Beating the Panic Trick [Paperback], by David Carbonell. Seems to help me get my thoughts together. I got it on Amazon. Worth a shot, maybe? Helps develop that plan forwells mentions. <Hugs>

Sorry you are having a tough time right now. Has it always been this bad for you?
I am 46 and finding hormones are really taking a toll on the anxiety thing also.
Might sound funny but try yoga and meditation. It is super helpful. Worth a try.
The book "Yoga for Anxiety" has a lot of great information in it.

I am 47 and going through pre menopause and wow does it mess with your anxiety. I have also found it depletes you of so many vitamins. I was low on my D and B12. After taking the supplements and a mag citrate to calm myself since mag citrate is a muscle and nerve calmer I am doing much better:) I take fish oil too. That helps with nerves too.
