Hello!!!

Just joined the forum 4 days ago, and all I can say is wow!!!! I wish I would of found this years ago!!!! I feel like everyone here is telling my life story! All my symptoms, fears, and crazy thoughts are laid out from people I had no idea about!!! I thought I was the only one!!! I am 29 years old, married with two beautiful boys!!!! I have currently been on Lexapro for almost two years now, but b4 meds it was 8 years of ER trips, ct scans, heart monitor, and MRI!!!! To see that I am not the only one like this is sooooo reassuring to me! My anxiety is still with me and I believe I was led to this sight for help! I look forward to gettin to know you all!

Welcome! I'm glad you found us. It sounds like you went through a lot before you were correctly diagnosed. You are definitely not alone. I hope you find the answers that you seek.

Hi!:) I just joined a few days back and it's so great when your feeling bad to get on here and have such sweet people who are going through the same thing talk to you. It helps you know that your not alone and that were all in this together:) we all suffer every day with anxiety and panic attacks and it good to know what others feel when they go through this too. No one understand just what we are going through but the people who are going through it. Everyone else just says snap out of it, or your making yourself like this. Why do you always have to be so nervous. You creat this yourself is what I hear. But if I could figure a way to stop this I would. I mean do people think we really enjoy being scared and nervous about stuff! No way! I struggle everyday and try my best but sometimes it gets the best of me anyway.

Hi & welcome! I joined this site a little over a month ago and it has helped me cope a little better as well as learn more about anxiety. Hope it does the same for you!

Meg, I hear you! I knew from treatment that I wasn't the only one but I never heard these feeling/thoughts/anxieties expressed before by patients prior to joining here over a year ago. I wish we had the web and a site like this back in 1981 when I first became anxious. Nevertheless it sure is reassuring to hear others say that they have felt similar anxiety and life can indeed go on! Makes me less anxious just knowing about it all.:) Alankay.
