Emdr?

My therapist has been working with me to start EMDR. She has suggested we begin at my next session. Now that its a reality I'm scared. Has anyone had success or complications? My sister has had it and swears its helped her anxiety/panic. I'm worried it will trigger more problems. I'm sorry to post so much tonight. It's helping me to focus on something other than the millions of sensations I'm feeling tonight.
