Lexapro & alcohol

Hey I'm day 12 on lexapro I have a birthday party dinner tomorrow night would it be ok to have just a few drinks? Has anyone else done it?

Yes. A few(2, 3 or 4) will be OK. Just be aware it might make you sleepy....but maybe not. In any case a couple drinks will be OK. Just pay attention to how you're feeling and go slow....but not too much attention as I bet you'll be fine. If you're at 20mg just pay a bit more attention as you might get sleepy but maybe not. Generally, it seems to be safe... but there is a mixture of experiences to be found on the web.

You take a risk doing this, albeit a seemingly small one. Just beware.

I wouldn't advise it, I nearly died from it. But if people say a few drinks then go ahead I'm no doctor

I have a beer or two here and there. Hard liquor too, I just wouldn't go out and get waisted.
