I have recently begun to suspect that a lot of issues which had been attributed to a diagnosis of depression may in fact result from anxiety. I would like to find out as much as possible on the subject. What books have you found to be particularly helpful? Ideally, I would like to become better informed about both the disorder itself (what we know about it scientifically, etc.) and about possible treatment options/coping strategies/reading strategies etc. Thanks for your time!

I'm about half way through The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook. I really like it, it's been great at explaining how negative self-talk plays such a huge role in anxiety. There is also lots of written exercises which tend to help me learn more.
