I'd like to think its a muscle , but even daily too? I had the heart work up in July so I try to just relax and sleep it off but if I have them at work it just scares me . I would be a lot less anxious without these that's for sure !

Sam me and you seem to have the same anxiety symptoms , chest pain , and heart palpitations are common, I haven't had one in about two months, but I have gotten them here and there even twice a day and it is scary , the feeling is horrible as if it pauses or paralyzes your body for 30 seconds or a bit more but have you notice you feel pretty normal after a few minutes ?? my doctor told me its your brain reacting to your heart or muscles around your heart area that's why you feel the the boom feeling that even get you light headed for a minute. How old are you of you don't mind me asking ?? Feel free to message me I've been thru this for the past two years. I've learned to live with this and seem to be getting better with time ..

When I had my first panic attack I had palps for hours and pretty much all day for the following 3 days.. Not nice! I get them now and again but manage to stay a bit calmer now!

It's just so strange feeling and no matter what it just happens . I'm 25 and too young to feel sick daily. I take Ativan and have tapered it down so I am assuming the palpitations were from that ? How can I prevent them ? I would love to go two months without them, it's a start !

Do you ever get quick pains in your head too at times from anxiety ?

How can u prevent them ?? I'm not sure talk to your doctor , with time as your anxiety gets better and your body starts to relax and not fight against your anxiety you won't get them hardly at all.. And yes I used to get sharp pains in my head , or my head would just start hurting for a few minutes and go away but I have not felt that in over 6 months .. How's your heart rate ?? Do you feel your heart pumping harder at unusual times and then it seems to go back to normal ?? I told my doctor about that he put me on proponolol and it seems as if it's working , feel a lot more calm and a relaxed heart beat ..
