no, but it is common. You more then likely also grind yer teeth at night and may not even know or realize it until it causes nerve pain in the teeth. Which sux really bad I might add!! Not because I grind my teeth, because I was eating vinegar based salad dressings virtually everyday for about 2 months!! It ate the enamel away from my teeth in that short of time because its HIGHLY acidic.. OUCH!!! and $600 to fix it! Get an athletic mouthgaurd from the nearest big box retailer if you do grind yer teeth.

Yeah I have TMJ too. Started before I had panic attacks though. But I guess I've been dealing with tons of stress most of my life :P
I got the mouthguard, but I hate the thing. I can't see myself sleeping easy with that in my mouth it actually feels like it's pulling on my teeth x,x

Different for everyone though. You might like em. My first, or second. maybe third ex did . Although she liked things in her mouth. But I heard if you can stand em, they work great! and save you money
