How many people on here take medication to control their A/D?

Honestly, I think that most of us take meds. I'm on 15mg of lexapro a day. How. Bout you?

During peak anxiety / panic attacks I would take Diazepam and beta blockers.

Diazepam was ALWAYS only for emergencies, however.

Last med I took (half a diazepam in the cinema watching a frickin' kids movie can you believe!!!!) was some 6 weeks ago.

Try to steer away from them if you can.

I don't, and in fact never have. I was close to it at one point, but persevered with self-help and herbal medications. I can say that although I suffer with anxiety somewhat now, I don't feel the need for meds. I think if you can, its better to avoid them.
