Why you scared to start with ??
The side effects and the damage it does to your brain, heart, kidneys and liver.

You know that you can die from drinking too much water ??
I understand where you are coming from . I am having a bit of the same problem in rearguards to drugs at the moment .
Its good to knock back a drug but you have to make sure that you are doing it because its what you think is right and not your fear itself .
If your not happy with it DONT take it and if its being pushed on you then maybe a second option is needed .
Two questions . How you find out about these side effects ??
Do you think that your anxiety is playing into what you are thinking ??
Yes I know about the water thing. I looked up the side effects on google and then I start thinking about all these stars who died of taking meds.

Yes well google is not a good thing with a anxious mind .
As with the water each case is different . If you abuse something then something will more than likely go wrong .
Its fine to say that these stars died because of this but the fact is that there was a lot more that played into things.
The right drug with the right doctor and you will be fine i am sure .
I hope so. Thank you so much! Can we pm? Become friends??

Cat Eyes,
From a dosage perspective, both the Celexa and Xanax are still very low dosages. It is not uncommon for me to start Celexa at 20mg per day and Xanax at 0.5mg twice a day in my patients with anxiety and depression. I certainly understand your concerns, but keep in mind there are very real physical consequences to under-treating depression and anxiety as well.
I hope this helps.
