Do you get neck/shoulder pain, stiffness, whooshing sounds??

I have had this nasty neckache for about a week, mostly when I turn my head. It often feels like it goes into my shoulder. I also hear a whooshing sound in my ear.
My counsellor says it's from stress, but have you ever had this?
I didn't think your neck could be sore this long.

well when you have an anxiety attack or panic attack your neck can be sore..so can your shoulder blades and back..but i dont really know why your neck would be sore for so long??

I have neck pains all the time. I have had a couple of Doctors tell me it was part if my anxiety. I have been exercise & stretching more & it has helped a lot. My Doctors were told me the neck pains were causing my migraines as well, so watch out for those.
