Yesterday I read a post and now I can't find it. I wanted to reply to the post. Anyway in this thread the person was giving great advice in handling anxiety and depression. I have been working on changing my bad thinking habits and cbt has been a great discovery. In this blog the person said that distractions are a great technique to cope with anxiety. I would like to say that I believe that they merely act as a bandaid rather than facing it head on. I used to be a big distraction practicer and found that the relief was only short term. There are very useful skills out there in order to help you fight back. Tea forms, wearing wrist counter, even blogging have been great tools in my growth. Here's to changing bad thinking habits.
