I quit my job today.

What made you quit?

I dunno, basically my boss was being an asshole. I'm a cook, and they just opened this new restaurant and he's been working too many hours and taking his aggravation out on everyone. He gets all sarcastic and shit, and the other day he was throwing things. I tried to be cool, because I knew I needed the job. But I went in the next day and it started all over again, and I walked out.

It sounds like you had good reason to quit. Just because your boss is under a lot of stress doesn't give him the right to take it out on everyone else.

After all, I know a lot of people who are under a lot of stress. But they're classy enough not to take it out on the rest of us.
