As I've accepted my anxious feelings instead of fighting them I've felt better but also I've noticed that throughout the day sometimes I'll feel a lingering anxiety that's less intense than usual. It's easier to curb my attention from it with activities but it tends to linger. Have any of you experienced this?

thats what i am doing.i have stopped trying to fight it.im embracing it.if i go to go somewhere and feel anxious i just tell my anxiety to come with me or not it usually comes with me.but leaves quickly.seems to stop the full on anxiety attacks

Exactly that. It's a struggle but it's better than I've been and I've only been trying this new technique for 2 days or so. Goes to show how well accepting the feelings works. I'm
Hoping that this is the way out. Over time the anxiety will probably fade even more.
