Greetings anxious ones!

Can anyone relate to having anxiety symptoms but without any obvious trigger or panic?

Let me explain...

I've been through it all over the past 6 months and now seem to at a fairly predictable position where;
a/ I no longer get full-on panic attacks, and
b/ I'm fully comprehensive of my condition

...BUT... I'm still getting symptoms around 3-4 times a week.

It seems to start how it always did... I mean, I feel a bit of a panic coming on (often for no OBVIOUS reason), I can them feel a kinda dull ache around the chest, shoulders, sometimes at various points around the arms/wrists AND of course that beloved feeling of impending doom.

To begin with, this anxiety "initialisation" would often turn into a panic attack. Now, because I know what it is I just tend to sit very still, keep it bottled in and let it pass.

I will sometimes pop half a diazepam if I think it may be a baddun.

Anyone in this same position?

It's feckin' frustrating because I feel that I should be over it now. I.e. I understand it and don't have the fear I used to have.
But it prevails and it's bloody annoying!
