Hi, im new to this. My name is Ally, and i have anxiety. Recently i have been taking a low dosage of citalopram, it was proscribed months ago but i was to scared to take it then. I started it about four days ago, and was wondering if anyone had any input or experience with it. I'm trying to finally lead a normal life, i'm sick of panic attacks.

Celexa(citalopram) is a good med but takes time to work. Start with 10mg for a few days and go to 20mg as that's a good way to start it unless you just want to start at 20mgs(base dose). Starting lower just helps avoid side effects when you start the med but will usually go away in a time. You may or may not need a higher dose. PM me any time. Alankay
