Hello, I am new here and wanting to talk to other people who have dealt/are dealing with agoraphobia. I think one of the most difficult parts about it for me is not having anyone to talk to who understands what I'm going through. I am not housebound, but I don't drive or work and I have made many limits for myself. I am trying to stay positive and make myself do things, but sometimes it is so exhausting.

I asdf! I too suffer from agoraphobia. It's the pits, eh?! Just remember you aren't alone. I'm partially housebound - I have to force myself to go out some days, but some days I'm not too bad.

How long have you been agoraphobic?

I've been dealing with it in mild to severe forms for over 10 years now.

Oh my! I have only been dealing with it for less than a year.
