    Hormones

Struggling with depression through hormone imbalance. Anyone got any recommendations - have been suggested acupuncture. Trying HR
and anti depressants but now over two years and not found answer yet. Meditation helps sometimes. Any help from anyone - getting desperate?

Thanks but they have been changing my meds for over two years and can't find the right ones - for hormones or depression - body rejecting or reacting to lots of tablets.

My main problem from hormone imbalance is depression. Had post natal depression several times after miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy and now in menopause. Post natal depression always followed same path like a tunnel you had to follow and could not get out of, but anti depressants just helped keep you calm. Last time in 1996 I was in hospital for 3 weeks because over the years each time more severe and in 1996 wanted commit suicide. Then gave up trying for children, and apart from occasional pelvic inflammation disease, also caused by hormone imbalance, and in hospital for severe pain and too much like appendicitis, not had any depression until menopause in 2011. Post natal depression only lasted 5/6 months and anti depressants helped. This time menopause and pere menopause lasting over two years and body not accepting anti depressants which used to work. So hospital for 7 weeks this time in 2011 and although back to work now, still struggling with trying new anti depressants and different hormones to help the depression. It is a mountain on top if me this time instead of a tunnel and my husband is really struggling after over two years of no social life, whereas he could handle 5/6 months before.
