    Wink I'm anxiety free 2013! :D

    Hi,

    My names John Mawson,
    I'm 20 years old
    born in England
    living in Los Gatos, California.

I've suffered with anxiety for over 18 years.
I was hospitalized and put in a mental health institution for a while in 2008 when I was 16.
    Diagnosis:
    Bipolar Disorder
    Anxiety Disorder
    Manic Depression
    OCD
    *Emetaphobia (Fear of vomiting)

I was medicated for about 3 weeks on seroquil (very high dose) before turning into the walking dead, and deciding that i'd rather feel anxiety than feel nothing at all. I was on 3 separate SSRI's, each giving me worse side effects from the first (Prozac)

At age 19, everything spiraled out of control!
I lost my 2 businesses I was running (Referal Networking and Small Business consulting)
I was having 2-3 panic attacks per day
I couldn't eat, fear of vomiting
I quit my job I was forced to take to pay my bills (I walked out as soon as I got there, and never came back... Anxiety was THAT bad)
I got a stomach ulcer, and kept coughing up blood. (I thought I was for sure dead!)
All of this spiraled out of control, and I eventually became bed-bound. Eating less than a meal per day, not leaving my bed unless necessary...

Well this lead to my suicide attempt...
During the day of going out to end it all. I personally believe, I was saved by a God. (But I will not speak of religion again unless personally asked, I don't want to offend anybody)
This lead to my vow to overcome anxiety and all the other things wrong with me, doing whatever it took!

I spent 2 whole months, working very long hours each and every day, searching the web for books, videos, tutorials, blogs, medical dictations and all possible sources of information on how to overcome anxiety. I wrote every possible thing I could find down; even those weird chakra chanting humming type techniques.

The next 2 months I spent going through each and every one of those techniques; writing down what worked, what didn't work, and what made things a LOT worse (chanting, chakra therapy, exposure therapy(I made this work in my technique i created) and many more, very common techniques!)
As you can imagine, this 2 month period, of facing everything that scared the bejesus out of me was so incredibly hard, painful and stressful! Everything inside of me wanted me to quit, to back down, to walk away, and often to end everything! But because I believed I had a purpose in doing this, which was to help everybody else out I possible could, by going through this myself... I kept going!
The first 6 weeks were terrible! I would be going up to things that scared the heck out of me, with a "technique of the day" that I truly didn't know wether it would work and I would live to see another day. Or like many times prior, it would fail, and I'd endure yet another dreaded panic attack. And I even had the fear of making things so bad, from such a terrible technique, that I would actually have a heart attack and die... This was a genuine fear of mine!

Once the first 6 weeks had passed, I had a LOT of good techniques, and a few great techniques, that I new I could apply to the things that scared me, and get myself back into a healthy place, if and when needed, while facing my fears. Because of this, I picked up the pace and intensified the intensity, facing bigger fears more rapidly. By the end of just that week, I had 90% of my entire anxiety removed, and along with that, so went the OCD, the phobia, and the depression. The Bipolar disorder went away with two of my techniques, which was to stay busy all day and night, and the other being to follow a schedule.
I continued this pace through the final week, and by the end of it, my anxiety was no longer there!
I started a tab in my room for days consecutively gone without experiencing anxiety, and while it has been reset twice due to two incidents where I experienced 5 minutes of anxiety (one was severe jet-lag from my flight home to England, and I thought I caught the Flu from the outbreak this winter. And the other was a few minutes of panic when I was having an allergic reaction to a cereal bar that contained ginseng, ginko biloba and guarna (one or all of which I'm allergic too)

Because I believed I had a purpose into suffering with anxiety and all the rest, and the purpose being to overcome it myself, and spread the word to the world. I had taken detailed notes, and kept a diary of every single day of these four months. With all of these notes, accounts and what-not's I spent the past 3 or so weeks, putting them all into a book. The book is never ever going to be sold for a single penny! But it is available to all who are interested. In the book, I have written out word for word, the techniques I have used to overcome my anxiety, leaving out ALL that did not work.
All of the techniques I have put into my book, are from many sources, but each of these techniques are written out exactly how I personally applied them, and written out the way I applied them. This was done this way, because when I applied the general technique, it would help a lot, but I always found ways of making each one of these techniques much better (for me) by adding things to them, and taking away that, that didn't need to be in there. And even though these techniques can be found if you'd like to do two months research of your own, and send a fortune paying for them, you still wont find them all in one place, and you wont find my personal variation on them.
*The FREE book, is on my FREE website (At the bottom of this page)

I also have decided to keep working on my website that I built for this book.
On this website, I have a few cool things I'm constantly updating and adding too:
Diet: how to eat your way out of anxiety and depression. I'm soon to be posting recipes, making tutorials, what to look out for on ingredients list. and much much more, to help you overcome much of your anxiety through what you eat, well more of what you shouldn't eat! (80% of people's anxiety is caused through diet, and most of us don't know it, even us who think and truly believe we are eating healthy)
Exercise: This is extremely important to overcoming anxiety, it not only releases feel-good endorphines, but it releases adrenaline we build up through inactivity. This is what leads to tension, and that is what leads to anxiety! When we release a daily supply of adrenaline, our body stops releasing and producing adrenaline from things that shouldn't scare us (our anxiety triggers) and goes through its daily supply to our exercise, which helps us when we work out. This is a win, win, win situation! What I'm adding to this is workout video's done by me. I'm currently weighing a mere 120lbs, (5ft9 and 20 years old.. 17.5 BMI.. NOT GOOD) And I will be doing a day-by-day video which you can follow a day behind me, and I'll be doing this throughout the year, reaching my target weight of 170lbs (but maybe not in the year.. maybe few more) and my desired body (see on website)

All supplement and steroid free! I'll also be posting tutorials on other types of workouts, both gym and home based! from Kickboxing to bodybuilding. (I have a great team behind me helping me put this all together.. Again, all volunteer work)
And Juicing: Raw foods juicing plays an insanely big part in recovery! The nutrients you get through superfoods, fruits and vegetables, will give your body all it needs to naturally heal itself... Most people cook their vegetables which kills off most of the nutrients! and even those who think they're getting enough nutrients in their diet, are likely not even close.
Hippocrates - "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"
Now it is not 100% certain wether Hippocrates died at 83,85 or 90, but we are sure he died within the age of 80-90 years old. This is impressive in today's society. But Hippocrates was not around in the 20th-21st century. He wasn't around in the 10th-20th century, in fact he wasn't even born after Jesus!
Hippocrates was born 460 BC!!! and his reported death according to wikipedia and other sources was 370 BC. 90 years old, when life expectancy was likely to be around 30-35 max! I am adding individual fruits and vegetables that are incredibly beneficial in overcoming anxiety because of their nutrients and also because of other compounds found in some raw fruits and vegetables that give you a relaxed feeling (Such as plums containing chlorogenic acid which has repeatedly shown to decrease anxiety in medical studies) I will also be putting up recipes specific to ailments and also general super-juice recipes. All of them enjoyed by me, the person who never ate a fruit in 4 years (15-16 was my last fruit) and NEVER ate a vegetable since being forced to as a child!

So that's all I really have to say.
I'm positive you can learn something beneficial from both my book and my website, so give it a viewing! It's free no strings attached!

(I don't want any moderator or admin thinking I'm trying to pull people away from here! I'm simply adding something you can use in conjunction with this forum)
I too am here to stay and reap the rewards of community helping.

Best wishes in your road to recovery,

    John Mawson

    Thank you

Well I was terrified of dog's starting at around age 2. And not just scared of dogs when I saw them. I was scared to leave the house to get into the car, incase a dog was to run at me and eat me alive, or whatever it was that I must have been thinking at age 2. It really was a hinderance and caused quite a few problems even at that age.
(This was told to me by my mum, but I do remember always being frightened of dogs)
That phobia went away around age 11 or age 12, and now I love dogs so, so much They're the best pets ever!

I for one will definitely be getting your book. It's so inspiring to see someone so young putting all their effort into getting better & then using their knowledge to help others completely selflessly (with the free book download).
Some people use this against us by selling their techniques at outrageous prices because they know we're willing to pay anything with the hope of getting better.
I wish you all the best for the future & with your business.

Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words
I'm truly glad someone actually gets my purpose, and is appreciative for it.
I will continue to do my best, and offer what I can.

I know exactly what you're talking about. When I spent the 2 months doing the research, I spent will into the hundreds of dollars, and had of not pirated a few books, I probably would have been into the thousands..!!!
Especially the seminars! They're $300+ each! (free on youtube)
And what's worse, most of the people offer techniques they've read about online somewhere, rip off the original author, and do a bosh job of walking people through an already ineffective technique, written by somebody who has never had anxiety, or never used the technique.
My "book" and website, certainly isn't very clean and tidy and neat like those books, but at least it's free, and it works

Well wishes in your recovery, I know you can overcome it!
Let me know of any single thing I am able to help you with!

    Best,

    John

Very inspiring..awesome! Anxiety is a demon, and yes indeed we've all been so low we've nearly spent lots of money on 'anti-anxiety cures'..I've spent around £25 on meditations..but that's it...The rest has gone on therapy! Thank you for you supportive writing..I will also definetely ready your book. Its the best way to give support, if you know something has helped you..x

    May be well meaning

and I do hope you are genuine and axiety free. I see testimonials like this from time to time in this forum and to me it sounds more like a well formulated sales pitch.

I know bajablue. Often with the content that suggests the author's native language is not English. I hate to be cynical too, but anxiety and depression are two of the most crippling things a human can go through and its sufferers are usually desperate enough to spend money we don't have for the hope of relief.

I hope he's genuine. Nothing as good as a success story.
