    Hi!

    Well, I'm new here. Suffering from an Anxiety of not getting to sleep the day before work. Looking for some natural solutions to overcoming this.

    Hi there. Welcome to this forum. I myself am fairly new here. You will find lots of great advice and support here. I know how much it sucks not to get proper sleep. Back in December, my anxiety was so bad that I was going 24-72 hours without sleep. I started taking sleeping pills which only made me lose my appetite, and made me depressed.

    Over the past 2-3 weeks I have been getting great sleep!! Here are the things I have done to make that happen (no meds!):

    -drinking a few cup of chamomile tea each day (has calming effect)
    -regular exercise
    -progressive muscle relaxation (many videos on youtube). I think this has been the most helpful!
    -avoiding alcohol, caffeine, violent tv shows/movies
    -better diet
    -relaxing in pool/hot tub/steam room/sauna, etc few times a week

    I have noticed a huge improvement! I hope some of these work for you too! You just need to keep working at it, and do as many of these (or other given advice), as often as possible. Get ready for some better sleep!
