Question Anxiety and eating excessively to "fill the emptiness"

Does anyone here with any form of anxiety struggle with their eating habits?
I tend to emotionally eat when I'm anxious or worried about something.
I crave really unhealthy snacks when it happens, especially popcorn and trail mix.
    Just a curiosity.

Yes, absolutely I eat more when I'm anxious!! Actually popcorn and trail mix aren't too unhealthy.

Yeah, me too. I actually gained weight recently because I am too nervous to eat when I have to, such as lunch or breakfast, so when I'm alone or when the hunger hits I eat popcorn or bread because it makes me feel full and easy. Do the math, I slowed my metabolism and the only thing I put inside are carbs. I feel bloated all the time, cramped, hungry, I am always hungry, and I binge when I shouldn't. I feel so depressed about it and then I eat some more to kill that feeling =(((
But I have taken first steps to change that, so I hope things will be better soon
